On the 31st of May 2013, now a native at The Alma Cafe, South Africa-born singer and songwriter Joshua Grierson, took to the stage to perform a set of songs, what was to be unlike any other Alma performance heard before.

Carrying on his new tradition of collaborating with some of the finest talent South Africa has to offer, Grierson brought along Gene Kierman, Jonathan Tait, Lauren Fowler, Adir Levi, Andrew James and Simon Van Gend and together, stirred and shook the audience with their blend of folk, gospel and blues.

With insight now in focus, Grierson had the good mind of capturing it all on 'tape' and what you will hear, is an artist in full expression of emotion, passion and an understanding of his craft. - Jack Thomas Jnr.
